Edmonds community members donate to the Friends of the Edmonds Library in many ways. They donate their time through participation in our community programs. They donate materials and volunteer their expertise in support of all aspects of our high-quality book-sales. They donate financially, through annual membership dues, personal contributions, and business sponsorships. Collectively, these donations allow us to respond quickly to library needs, and to undertake projects and supply items that fall outside the established budget of our local library.
The Friends’ year-round Ongoing Book Sale in the library and our Annual Book Sale in October rely solely on donations from community members. If you have a few extra books to donate, please use the drop box just inside the door of the library. Do you have multiple boxes of books, CDs, DVDs!? We will arrange the pick up of large book donations! Any large donations within a five mile radius of the library will be picked up by a Friends volunteer. To arrange, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Acceptable materials must be in good condition (no mildew, musty odors, water damage and not falling apart). Additional donation locations include the Edmonds Goodwill or the Discover Books donation bin in the south end of the Westgate PCC parking lot.
We gratefully accept debit/credit card donations via PayPal, or through mail using the address below. Tax receipts are provided upon request.
