Our February member meeting was a great source of inspiration for readers and writers alike! Read on for some of what was shared, and please feel free to pass this on to any literature lovers you know.
Author Laura Moe and EPIC Group Writers
- Laura Moe is the author of the highly regarded book, Breakfast with Neruda (currently available for check-out from your local library!)
- Laura shared with us the many steps on the writing journey in a presentation titled: From Inspiration to Publication. Her take on the creative process was candid and refreshing, and she fielded a number of thoughtful questions from membership.
- Laura refines her craft through the local EPIC Group Writers, whose mission is to create and sustain a community of writers of all levels who share, encourage and nurture literary and other creative arts for the benefit of the community at large.
- EPIC is currently running their annual writing contest, with submissions due by Friday, April 5. If you’re a writer, or a reader that wants to become a writer, please read the contest rules and consider applying!
